GALV-Based Retroviral Replicating Vectors for Glioma Gene Therapy
This project seeks to develop novel retroviral replicating vectors (RRV) that are encoated with a heterologous Gibbon Ape Leukemia Virus (GALV) envelope, and encode an optimized Herpes simplex thymidine kinase (TK) suicide gene, for evaluation in both humanized mouse and syngeneic rat models of orthotopic glioma.
